Seal 氣 [qì] = Energy

The ideogram 氣 [qì] is made up of the parts: 气 [qì] breathing, air and 米 [mì] rice plant. The eastern connotation of 氣 is “spiritual energy“; a meaning not present in western culture. The 氣 is therefore like a vital and spiritual breath that feeds life like rice nourishes men.
