Description
An image of Mary descending the stairs, with the child Jesus in her arms, to bring him to humanity. Can be countertop and/or wall mounted. Made with white refractory clay including a painted wooden staircase and colored plexiglass, entirely designed and built in the laboratories of Centro Ave. Created to give shape to the words of Pope Francis on the invitation to be an “outgoing” Church, this image proposes the figure of Mary as a model in the extraordinary nature of a daily act.
The result of a careful, entirely hand-crafted process, the product is shaped and finished by hand.
After drying, it receives the characteristic porous appearance that distinguishes the Centro Ave brand, followed by cooking at over 1000 degrees.
