Let's throw the anchors of stability and hope from Ciro's boats!

In the previous article, one of the techniques that helped to reduce one’s worries was doing the exercise: could it be worse? Let’s do it together:

Could it be worse?

Am I stopped in traffic to get to work and shouldn’t I delay because I’m finishing a big project? It means that I have the job that allows me to think about the future… There are those who find themselves thinking about how to bear (and support) the present moment: without work and without the prospect of having it in the near future. Is the queue too long at the supermarket? Anyway, I’m waiting with a full cart… In many places in the world, there are endless lines to buy nothing that is offered… My child falls off his bicycle, the other gets cold, the third has problems with friends in the school? How would I handle these problems if I were in a country where no one speaks my language, without the husband, without knowing the procedures, the doctors, the people who could possibly help me? What if it was really my problem: not to have a job, to find myself in the endless queues to buy nothing, to be not able to give the necessary support to my children for not knowing the culture of the place where I am? The lack of security for the future, the lack of stability in life is a problem that has affected many people who for one reason or another have been forced to leave their living environment and try to start over on the other side of the world. These people are not far from us. Indeed, they are right next to us. Just look at them closely and let yourself be challenged by the confusion they are experiencing… How to do?

Let's throw the anchors of stability and hope from Ciro's boats!

ancora di speranza-gettiamo le ancore
Ciro is known for his ability to give life back to what seems dead. And that is why with his works we can support the initiative of charity towards people who try to restart their lives… Ciro himself says:
My work is not just a rescue work: I feel that I must also restore dignity to the discarded object. My laboratory is a “welcome center” and a “field hospital” of objects that have been useful and precious, full of life and history. And they are just objects. How much more a man!
Ciro’s boats selected in this link are part of the initiative in which 50% of the proceeds obtained from their sale will be paid into the current account of P.A.F.O.M which supports three Ukrainian families hosted in Loppiano. Let’s slow down and look carefully at the needs of others!
