Hung’s atelier
Hung’s atelier
The last time we talked about art was a little over a month ago, with the arrival of the Bottega di Ciro on the portal. An innovative, original and expressive art; all three features remind us of another artist too…
It is Lau Kwok Hung, born in Hong Kong, who has experienced art in many aspects throughout his life. His art carries a message of intercultural dialogue and in recent years has been focused on metalworking and Chinese calligraphy.
It all stems from his interest in the potential of the blowtorch, from his “rediscovery of fire”, which to date has allowed him to create unique works of their kind; each of them tells a story or sends a message. Hung is an art that tells, that strikes straight to the heart and leaves nothing to chance.
Hung’s Atelier is based in Loppiano; there is the art and craft workshop but also its permanent exhibition and a space for seminars and meetings, just to encourage the exchange of ideas with anyone visiting.
In recent months the atelier has dedicated itself to the production of a series of products, decorative iron elements with symbols belonging to the Chinese tradition.
This is how we communicate the arrival of Hung’s art on the portal. These creations are in fact specially designed for Made in Loppiano, so that his art can reach and touch even the most distant.
It is a world to be discovered and awaits only you. Run to take a look!
