Quid Social Cooperative

In the Quid social cooperative in Verona we are 150 people, we represent 17 different nationalities and most of us have stories of fatigue and rebirth on our shoulders.

We were born in Verona in 2013 to give an opportunity for social integration starting from work reintegration through the recovery of surplus fabrics made available by large textile and fashion companies, to create collections of ethical and made in Italy clothing and accessories.

Covid-19 initially brought us to our knees, but we made our motto “limits are starting points” a new opportunity to start again.

This has led us to be the sixth company out of more than 200 to receive, for the production and marketing of Co-ver type II R medical masks in derogation, the certificate from the Istituto Superiore di Sanità and the first on washable fabric. Having received the ISS certification means that the Istituto Superiore di Sanità certifies the passing of numerous tests: of filtering capacity to bacteria, biological load, breathability, toxicity, irritation. To produce it, higher quality and hygiene standards are required at the production site and on traceability, a result that we have gained by working with care and seriousness.

This also allowed us to reconvert the production and give business continuity to all of us, in a really difficult moment for everyone.

We are very happy today to be able to offer our masks also on Made in Loppiano: Co-ver embodies, as well as ethical values ​​of attention to people, values ​​of environmental sustainability, it is reusable 15 times, and for production, we have put ourselves in network with 6 local entities (between social and non-social cooperatives of the Legacoop network), all values ​​that unite our two realities.
