Fantasy and Conto Terzi Loppiano, two of the activities on the portal, have temporarily converted their production to respond to the emergency of the moment by producing filtering masks in non-woven fabric (TNT). We called this activity Loppiano Cares, because the attention to the other is always at the basis of all our actions. This new activity is part of an already started perspective of production of articles for the well-being of people who at the moment has focused its production on the creation of masks. The activation of this new process was aroused and anticipated by the request of the Tuscany Region, which proposed to the Citadel of Loppiano to produce 100,000 masks in a very short time. At the moment there are about 60 people engaged in this work, divided into two 5-hour shifts to comply with all the safety standards envisaged. The production of masks is now able to open up to the requests of individuals, businesses and retailers. … This working situation required a new organization within the Citadel which immediately responded positively to the request. All the realities present in Loppiano, and not, have made themselves available to help. The initiative has indeed found a network of aid in the area surrounding the Citadel and in many other third sector entities. Even in difficulty, unexpected roads open and Loppiano Cares undertakes to follow them.
